Went for my second acupuncture treatment today. Apparently, my knee seems a lot better now and the doc even reckons I'll be able to resume my normal activities in 2 months time. But man...2 months still feels like a long way to go. Worst still, this rest period spans across my holidays too, and I had planned to do so many things...

Oh well, I just hope my knee will fully recover this time around. Anyway, the whole acupuncture experience sure has been quite interesting! Its not as painful as I thought it'll be but neither is it painless. There's this weird, tingling sensation that runs down your spine as the needle slowly pierces into your skin and you can actually feel a kind of..."current" coursing through your body due to the strategic position the needle has been placed at. Perhaps the most amazing thing is that there's actually no blood throughout the entire procedure even after the needles are removed. Kinda like those balloon tricks, where one pierces the balloon with a sharp object, and then removes the piercing with the balloon perfectly intact. Fascinating indeed...

Took some photos while waiting for the needles to be removed.

Hope that's the last time I'll ever need to go for the treatment. Its so expensive too....
