Darn, school is almost about to reopen. Heard that Round 0 for Cors actually started yesterday and I wasn't even aware of it! Matthew, time to wake up and confront the next academic year la... Bengines, lets' move on to year two together! =D
Gosh many things have happened recently but I haven't been blogging about them. Let me attempt to recount them now. On Tuesday, we celebrated Pak's 22nd birthday at this Italian restaurant hidden in some obscure location along Rifle Range Road. Shared a lovely pizza with Eugene and had a great time catching up with friends I haven't met in ages. Ailin was there too and, yes, when ex-JC classmates get together, nostalgia starts to overwhelm the place. Apparently she'll be flying off to Japan to work as an English teacher for one year, so it was great to be able to catch up with her again before she left. Will post the photos of the gathering once I get them.
IF I ever get them...(where are my CAC camp photos la...)
On Friday evening (yes I'm recounting what happened in reversed chronological order), we had night cyling! The event was organised with the purpose of acting as a post engin camp event for OGs to meet up again. Was grouped together with the Naga people, along with special guest appearances from Hydra, Olympus and Shrek. Things started off at around 1030pm at ECP, after which we went down to Bedok 85 (had the famous Ba Chor Mee there), Joo Chiat Road (had a glass of ice milo that's all. heh =P), Esplanade (where it rained and we had to take shelter under the bridge. played psychiatrist meanwhile~ =.=), Geylang (dou jiang you tiao ah!) and finally, back at ECP. Not too sure how much distance we covered in all but it really turned out to be a test of physical endurance for most of us. Most of us rode till our thighs ached and our butts tightened up. But I suppose all that hard work really made us savour the great food we had at every stop. Was real proud of Eddie who had only rode 4 times in his life but actually managed to muster enough courage to cycle on the road! Good job man! Being the only camera man for that day, I ended up taking many photos for everyone...grr full time Engin Club camera man liao la.. =.=
Bedok 85:

More Naga pictures!
And finally...

Exhausted and worn out but proud of ourselves nonetheless =)
Hahaha night cyling was fun la. After we returned the bikes, we went down to Macs for a sumptuous breakfast and continued playing psychiatrist with our Naga guests. Need I mention how much I fear the game? Grr...why do they like playing it so much...
Lots more happened along the week for me actually. Had a gathering with my CAC camp OG last Wed and watched Harry Potter (my first movie this holiday!) last Mon with Naga. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie as I was kept glued to the screen with all the action going on, along with all the special effects. Even felt slightly moved during the last scene when Dumbaldore (??dunno how to spell??) encouraged Harry to fight back that evil guy whose name I can't recall and not give in to him. Those who read the book felt a lot was cut off from the movie but since I didn't read it, I'm not complaining =)
Bet I missed a few things along the way but argh, I'm too tired to continue writing already. Hmmm Oweek dry run later. And, omg, its so late already!! oO Darn...going to be late again..
